Clear Polythene Bags
February 10, 2012W.F.Denny stock a wide range of clear polythene bags in three standard gauges. All of these bags are food safe and can be used for other purposes. The bags range from size 4”x6” up to 24”x36”.
100 gauge (25 micron)
This light gauge of polythene bag is the most popular and is sold in ten different sizes. This thickness of bag is ideal for retail and food packaging.
120 gauge (30 micron)
A slightly thicker gauge of polythene bag used to wrap food products or general goods. The larger sizes in this range make it suitable for clothing and other bulky, but light products.
200 gauge (50 micron)
The thickest of our stock range of poly bags. These bags are used in retail to pack sharp edged products such as pet foods or bulky heavy items such as 15 kilos of potatoes. The bag is also used to carry metal parts and pre packed chemicals.
